BREAKING NEWS!
BATMAN BEYOND: RETURN OF THE JOKER trailer now
available to download! Yep, that's right! Just check out this link:
MAKE US LOOK LIKE FOOLS AND SEE YOUR NAME IN
PRINT!
Yeah, that's right. Over the past 53 issues, my
hasty editing procedures have always left not
just a few, but sometimes a whole horde of simple errors, grammatical
problems, untrue facts,
and whatnot. Just no typos - you've gotta be more creative than that! Here's
where YOU come in.
If you can find any mistakes in this issue (we're not purposely making
mistakes - any mistakes
you find will be ones we were too blind to see), we'll print your name in the
following issue
in a special column. Sound fun?
Come on. Make us look like idiots. We dare ya.
Grrrr.
-Tim "TWO-FACE" Leighton
the tremendously warped editor

THOSE WHO MADE US LOOK LIKE QUITE THE COLLECTIVE FOOL:
January 16, 2000:
ROB GORDON
-He found that in our description of EYEWITNESS, we accidentally refer
to Commissioner Gordon
as a "he" - but on BATMAN BEYOND, Gordon is a woman. This is
probably also a mistake found in
of our newsletter.
January 17, 2000:
CATALINA STORM
-She found the same problem that Rob Gordon did in our EYEWITNESS
preview.
BRIAN DAVIS
-Even our newsletter affiliate Brian Davis had to rub in how forgetful
we can be. He spotted
the same mistake that Rob and Catalina did.
CONSTANCE "EILONWY" COCHRAN
-She discovered that Reliable Source was lacking a review in this issue.
She then noticed that
the outrageous news was printed under the "News and Rumours" column
of the newsletter. Hmmm.
ACTUALLY, editor Tim "TWO-FACE" Leighton put that in there - but the
news was pretty, well,
WRONG, so I guess that would count here.
SCOTT HAAN
-Ahhh, this guy found a lot. First there were some little grammatical
errors which we SHOULD
have found, but didn't; second, he found that we once make a reference to
"BATMAN BETOND"
(ugh); the remainder of the problems were small comma errors, typos, and other
improper uses of
grammar. (There were a whopping 42 in total.)
KEVIN KING
-He just made it known that in the news section, when we give our Terry
Beatty's username at
EBAY, we've been using an old handle. The new one is...well, just check it out
below. We've
corrected it.
PETER ASHWORTH, DREW TIERNEY
-The word "horde" was mispelled as "hord" in one of
the opening paragraphs.
JARED SIMMONS
-"BATMAN BETOND"? What show is THAT?
DON HUFF, SCOTT McKEON
-Like many others, he was quick to point out that in the synopsis of
EYEWITNESS, Commissioner
Gordon is referred to as a "he". Oddly enough, we didn't make
this error - the site we copied
the BEYOND synopses from did.
JIM DEMES
-"Horde", "Darksied", "Batman Betond",
etc, etc...there were 25 others. Ack! ;-Y
January 18, 2000
L. VIRDEN
-The same "Commissioner Gordon" problem; numerous other typos
and "I before E" problems.
CHRISTINA SARRON, MARC ROSENZWEIG
-Yet another "Commissioner Gordon" problem. This seems to be a
favourite amongst our fan-
editors, here!
MARK HAZZARD
-Another "hord" problem. It should be "horde",
non?
January 19, 2000
KIM, THE BAT BRAT
-Commissioner Gordon's sexual confusion, again. Geez, this one's
popular!
January 23, 2000
JIM DOYLE
-It seems that everyone has jumped on the bandwagon to notify us of our
Commissioner Gordon
mistake...

EAGERLY ANTICIPATING...
New episodes are on the horizon! Here's what we can expect in the near
future...
'LEGACY (Pt. 1 & 2)'
Superman #44, 48
Air date: February sweeps, 2000?
This two-parter features the final showdown between Superman and
Darkseid in which he strips
Superman of his memory and adopts him as a son in an effort to take over
Earth. This is being
touted as the FINAL Superman episode EVER. However, I must say that I've read
a synopsis of the
episode, and it's a doozie.

BATMAN BEYOND episodes, check out of
