.5 - BREAKING NEWS!
-May 23, 1999

BATMAN BEYOND IS COMING TO CANADA!

For all those unable to get KidsWB on whatever station, and you live in Canada (or are in parts of the United States that get the Canadian channel "GLOBAL"), this is for you!

-Global TV has finally picked up Batman Beyond! Global is kicking off Batman Beyond with six back-to-back episodes on May 29th!! They will air the first six Batman Beyond episodes. It starts at 9am and goes until 12pm noon (ET). Check your local listings and your time zone, it may vary from province to province.

-Also expect Batman Beyond to return to its normal half hour format the
following week. This is great news for all Canadian Batman Beyond fans
who are going to suffer the lose of WGN next season. You now have
GlobalTV to fall back on!

This news was unable to make of BATMAN: THE ANIMATED NEWSLETTER, and would have been a thing of the past if we waited to put it in (in two weeks).  So I hope this helps all of you out! I'm a Canadian and I think this is GREAT news!

editor of "Batman: The Animated Newsletter".
