The Telegraph has spoken with actors Colin Firth and Jim Carrey on what it was like to act in Robert Zemeckis' upcoming adaptation of A Christmas Carol. Firth notes the extreme discomfort he felt in wearing the spandex suits required for the motion-capture process, stating, "The spandex that we were put in bulges in all the places you don't want it to bulge and resolutely refuses to bulge in the places you want it to bulge." Carrey also joked that the biggest challenge he faced was the "T-pose" he had to take before the cameras began filming, but added that the movie allowed him to be "cast in films I would never be cast in."
A Christmas Carol opens on November 6, 2009.
