First a Director, Now a Writer For "G.I. Joe"

Hot on the heels of hiring Stephen Sommers to direct the live-action feature film addaption of the G.I. Joe franchise Paramount Pictures has hired Stuart Beattie to write the script. Beattie comes to the G.I. Joe project having served as a writer on Pirates of the Carribean: Curse of the Black Pearl and Collateral as well as the upcoming 30 Days of Night, due in theaters in October.
