By Duke

BrainPOP will be offering free viewings of several animated shorts based on African-American culture to celebrate Black History Month.

Shorts range from cultural icons, such as Maya Angelou, Martin Luther King Jr., and Oprah Winfrey, to the historical timeline of the African-American community, detailing the events of slavery and the Harlem Renaissance, among others.

These short films will be available all throughout February.
