Kids' WB! Dominates All Saturday Morning Competition to Rank #1 in Boys 6-11 and Ranks as #1 Broadcast Network in Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11 and Boys 2-11 During Third Week of Sweeps

BURBANK, CA (May 17, 2001) - On Saturday, May 12, Kids' WB! dominated all Saturday morning competition to rank #1 among Boys 6-11 (4.8/22) during the third week of May sweeps. The network ranked #1 among the broadcast competition in Kids 2-11 (2.7/13), Kids 6-11 (3.3/16) and Boys 2-11 (3.8/18). Among Kids 2-11, Kids' WB! led Fox Kids (2.0/10), CBS (1.8/9) and ABC (1.6/9).

For the morning, the hit comedy-adventure series Jackie Chan Adventures, in its 9:00 a.m. ET time period, topped all competition, including cable, in Boys 6-11 (6.5/28) to rank as the #1 program. The series also ranked as the #1 program among the broadcast competition in Kids 6-11 (4.5/22) and Kids 2-11 (3.4/16), tying with X-Men: Evolution (3.4/15). At 9:30 a.m. ET, X-Men: Evolution ranked as the #2 program for the morning among Boys 6-11 (6.4/25). The high-adventure teenage mutant superheroes led the morning to rank as the #1 broadcast program in Boys 2-11 (4.9/20) and Kids 2-11 (3.4/15), tying with Jackie Chan Adventures, and ranked as the #2 broadcast program in Kids 6-11 (4.4/19).

Additional Kids' WB! Saturday morning highlights include:

Pokémon: The Johto Journeys, at 10:00 a.m. ET, beat its time period competition, including cable, in Boys 2-11 (4.8/20) and Boys 6-11 (6.2/26), and ranked #1 among its time period broadcast competition in Kids 2-11 (3.0/13) and Kids 6-11 (3.9/16).
In its 8:30 a.m. ET time period, Pokémon won among all competition in Boys 6-11 (4.9/25) and among the broadcast competition in Kids 2-11 (2.6/15), Kids 6-11 (3.4/20) and Boys 2-11 (3.7/18).
Static Shock, at 11:00 a.m. ET, electrified the time period broadcast competition in Kids 2-11 (2.5/12), Kids 6-11 (2.9/14), Boys 2-11 (3.0/14), Boys 6-11 (3.3/15), Girls 2-11 (1.9/10) and Girls 6-11 (2.4/12).
In its 10:30 a.m. ET time period, The Zeta Project led the broadcast competition among Kids 6-11 (2.6/12), Boys 2-11 (3.7/17), Boys 6-11 (3.9/17) and Kids 2-11 (2.5/11), tying Fox Kids' "Digimon: Digital Monsters" (2.5/11).
At 11:30 a.m. ET, Men in Black: The Series topped its time period broadcast competition in Kids 2-11 (2.2/10), Kids 6-11 (2.6/12), Boys 2-11 (3.0/14), Boys 6-11 (3.4/15) and Girls 6-11 (1.6/8).
Max Steel, at 8:00 a.m. ET, ranked as the #1 program among all time period competition, including cable, in Boys 6-11 (3.9/22), and ranked as the #1 broadcast program in this time period among Kids 6-11 (2.3/16) and Boys 2-11 (2.8/16).

For the week of May 7-11, Kids' WB! dominated the broadcast competition in Kids 2-11 (1.3/8), Boys 2-11 (1.6/10), Boys 6-11 (1.9/13) and Kids 6-11 (1.4/10), tying with UPN (1.4/15). Among Kids 2-11, the network took four of the top five broadcast programs. In its Monday-Thursday 4:30 p.m. airing, Pokémon topped all competition, including cable, to rank #1 for the week among Boys 6-11 (3.9/19). The animé-adventure series ranked as the #1 broadcast program in Kids 2-11 (2.4/12), Kids 6-11 (2.8/14), Boys 2-11 (3.0/15), Boys 6-11 (3.9/19) and Girls 2-11 (1.7/8).
