Kids' WB! Captures Saturday Morning Broadcast Competition to Rank # 1 Among Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11, Boys 2-11 and Boys 6-11

BURBANK, CA (July 6, 2001) - On Saturday, June 30, Kids' WB! captured the morning to rank as the #1 broadcast network among Kids 2-11 (2.0/11), Kids 6-11 (2.0/11), Boys 2-11 (2.8/15) and Boys 6-11 (2.7/16). Among Kids 2-11, the network bested ABC (1.8/10), Fox Kids (1.2/7) and CBS (1.1/6).

For the morning, Pokémon: The Johto Journeys, in its 10:00 a.m. ET time period, finished as the #1 program among all competition, including cable, in Boys 2-11 (4.7/22). The animé-adventure series ranked as the #1 broadcast program among Kids 2-11 (3.4/16), Kids 6-11 (3.6/17) and Boys 6-11 (4.8/22).

Additional Kids' WB! Saturday morning highlights include:

X-Men: Evolution, at 9:30 a.m. ET, topped the time period competition, including cable, to rank #1 in Boys 2-11 (3.9/21) and Boys 6-11 (3.6/21), tying Nickelodeon's "Rugrats" in those demos (3.9/21) and (3.6/20). The explosive high-adventure series led the time period broadcast competition among Kids 2-11 (3.0/15) and Kids 6-11 (2.6/14).
In its 10:30 a.m. ET time period, the futuristic series The Zeta Project beat the broadcast competition in Kids 2-11 (2.5/11), Kids 6-11 (2.6/12), Boys 2-11 (3.7/17) and Boys 6-11 (3.6/16).
At 9:00 a.m. ET, Jackie Chan Adventures won among its time period broadcast competition to rank #1 in Kids 2-11 (1.9/11) and Boys 2-11 (2.4/14).
Max Steel, in its 11:30 a.m. ET time period, dominated among the broadcast competition in Kids 2-11 (2.0/9), Kids 6-11 (2.1/10), Boys 2-11 (3.0/14) and Boys 6-11 (2.9/14).
