Log onto uStream on Wednesday, August 27th at 9:30AM to watch and discuss a series of marathon comic inking with the creator of Fantasia Arks: The Phasmatis Crisis as he recreates the first two chapters of the story tirelessly!

To paraphrase Dave Reynolds, artist of ShadowGirls on the amount of work being done: "I do about 110 full color pages a year, but doing 200 black and white, graytoned in a matter of months...is just borderline "You've looked at Cthulhu."

Another Kids' WB! Ratings Update

BURBANK, CA – On Saturday, September 23, POKÉMON, in its 10:00 a.m. ET time period, dominated all Saturday morning competition, ranking as the #1 program for the morning and setting new season ratings records for KIDS’ WB! in Kids 6-11 (6.8/25), Boys 2-11 (7.9/28) and Boys 6-11 (9.4/33). The series ranked #1 for the morning among the broadcast competition in Kids 2-11 (5.6/21). At 8:30 a.m. ET, POKÉMON won the time period among all competition, including cable, with Boys 2-11 (5.1/22) and Boys 6-11 (5.8/24) and among the broadcast competition with Kids 2-11 (3.8/19), Kids 6-11 (4.5/23), Girls 2-11 (2.4/14) and Girls 6-11 (3.0/20).

CARDCAPTORS, in its 9:30 a.m. ET time period, ranked #1 among all competition, delivering its highest ratings ever in Boys 2-11 (5.8/20) and Boys 6-11 (7.0/24), outperforming Nickelodeon’s "Rugrats" in Boys 2-11 (5.6/20) and Boys 6-11 (6.2/22). The series also won the time period broadcast competition, posting its best ratings in Kids 2-11 (4.1/15) and Kids 6-11 (4.8/18). For the morning, CARDCAPTORS ranked as the #2 program among the broadcast competition, behind POKÉMON, in Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11, Boys 2-11 and Boys 6-11.

KIDS’ WB! continues to lead the Saturday morning broadcast competition, ranking as the #1 broadcast network among Kids 2-11 (3.3/15), Kids 6-11 (3.9/17), Boys 2-11 (4.7/19) and Boys 6-11 (5.3/21). Among Kids 2-11, KIDS’ WB! outperformed Fox Kids (2.3/10), ABC (2.0/10) and CBS (1.5/7), and followed behind Nickelodeon (5.0/22). KIDS’ WB! captured six of the top 10 broadcast programming spots for the morning in Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11 and Boys 6-11.

Additional KIDS’ WB! Saturday morning highlights include:

  • The new animated series JACKIE CHAN ADVENTURES ranked as the #1 program among the broadcast competition in its 9:00 a.m. ET time period in Kids 2-11 (3.4/14), Kids 6-11 (3.8/15), Boys 2-11 (4.7/17) and Boys 6-11 (5.5/19).
  • At 10:30 a.m. ET, the debut of STATIC SHOCK, which introduces the first African-American teen animated superhero, posted solid time period ratings for KIDS’ WB! in Kids 2-11 (3.2/13), Kids 6-11 (3.7/15), Boys 2-11 (4.6/17) and Boys 6-11 (5.2/19).
  • At 11:00 a.m. ET, BATMAN BEYOND outperformed the time period broadcast competition to rank #1 among Kids 2-11 (2.8/12), Kids 6-11 (3.4/15), Boys 2-11 (3.8/16), Boys 6-11 (4.4/18) and Girls 6-11 (2.4/12).

For the week of September 18-24, KIDS’ WB! led the weekday broadcast competition with six of the top 10 programs. Among Kids 2-11, the network posted a 1.5/9 for the week. The Monday-Thursday 4:00 p.m. airing of POKÉMON ranked as the #1 program among all competition, including cable, in Boys 2-11 (4.1/19) and Boys 6-11 (5.0/23), and in Kids 6-11 (3.6/18), tied with its POKÉMON Friday 4:30 p.m. airing (3.6/18) and Nickelodeon’s "Rugrats" Monday-Friday 4:30 p.m. airing (3.6/19). For the week, POKÉMON, 4:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday airing, ranked #1 among broadcast competition in Kids 2-11 (3.0/15).
