To paraphrase Dave Reynolds, artist of ShadowGirls on the amount of work being done: "I do about 110 full color pages a year, but doing 200 black and white, graytoned in a matter of months...is just borderline "You've looked at Cthulhu."

Tweety Flies High September 12

Animation Magazine reports that the full-length animated video "Tweety's High Flying Adventure" will have a suggested retail of $19.96, and will feature Tweety with "an all-star cast of more than 50 Warner Bros. cartoon characters". It's directed by James T. Walker, Karl Toerge and Charles Visser, and features the voice talents of June Foray, Joe Alaskey and Frank Welker.

Additionally, a Game Boy title by the same name and based on the movie is set to be released in conjunction with the video.

LITTLE GO BEEP Screens in LA

Jerry Beck announced yesterday that:

"Little Go Beep" will be shown "Thursday night, June 1, at the World Animation Celebration during the 3rd Program of Films in Competition' Warner Bros. Classic Animation entered into competition LITTLE GO BEEP the brand new unreleased Road Runner cartoon. It will be shown last in a program of shorts beginning at 9:45pm at the Egyptian Theatre on Hollywood Blvd.

Brad Bird Wins Award

At last Saturday's annual banquet of the National Cartoonists Society, Brad Bird received a Reuben Award in the Feature Animation category for his work on THE IRON GIANT.

DUCK DODGERS Full Disclosure

Volume 131 of Nintendo Power offers a full walkthrough of the upcoming Duck Dodgers: Starring Daffy Duck with screengrabs and hints galore. If you're not able to find a copy of the magazine, Nintendo offers a preview of the game here.
