WB DVD Details

On April 18, The Home Theater Forum hosted a
discussion with reps from Warner Home Video, who gave a preview of some upcoming titles to
be released. Among them:
- Space Jam: Special Edition DVD will not be released in anomorphic widescreen
- An Iron Giant Special Edition DVD is officially confirmed, "with greater filmmaker
participation" - which means that we have a better chance seeing a project as IG's
director Brad Bird envisioned for it. No release timetable as of yet.
- Not exactly confirmed, but WHV might release more episodes of Batman Beyond and even
from the earlier Batman series on DVD, provided they feel there's enough interest in it.
No mention of Looney Tunes or other animated WB properties, unfortunately.
