Fantasia Arks
Log onto uStream on Wednesday, August 27th at 9:30AM to watch and discuss a series of marathon comic inking with the creator of Fantasia Arks: The Phasmatis Crisis as he recreates the first two chapters of the story tirelessly!

To paraphrase Dave Reynolds, artist of ShadowGirls on the amount of work being done: "I do about 110 full color pages a year, but doing 200 black and white, graytoned in a matter of months...is just borderline "You've looked at Cthulhu."

Pinky, Elmyra & the Brain and Histeria Win Emmys; First Peek at Video Covers
Tues., May 16, 2000 02:52:37

Jerry Beck's Cartoon Research Page provided the results of the 2000 Daytime Emmys. Pinky, Elmyra & the Brain won in the category of OUTSTANDING ANIMATED CHILDREN'S PROGRAM, and Histeria! won in the category of OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN MUSIC DIRECTION & COMPOSITION.

He also provides a sneak peek of the upcoming direct-to-video animated films from Warner Home Video:

Thanks to Mr. Beck!

Here's the voice cast info on the Direct-to-Video "Scooby-Doo & The Alien Invaders":

This movie was the last feature project Mary Kay Bergman completed only weeks before her death. She reprises her role as Daphne Blake from the previous two Scooby movies.

It will co-star B.J. Ward as Velma Dinkley; Frank Welker as Freddy Jones, Amber (a dog - lots of barking there, I'm sure) and the voice for one of the aliens, and I assume Scott Innes (Scooby and Shaggy) will be rounding off the cast, though he wasn't mentioned by my source.

Additional voices will be provided by Mark Hamill and Kevin Richardson.
