Max Steel in Lawsuit

[Source: www.inside.com]

He's part man, part steel and part of a lawsuit. Max Steel, the animated WB Network television series based on the herioic evil-buster of the same name, was "held hostage" by Netter Digital Entertainment, according to a suit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court Friday.
Adelaide Productions, a division of Columbia TriStar Television, claimed the North Hollywood-based production house forced it to pay a $950,000 "ransom" by holding back the computer-generated images that make up the Max Steel show. In order to meet its deadlines with the network, Adelaide claimed in its suit that it had no choice but to pay Netter the money, which the production company claimed it needed to avoid startup and understaffing delays. No one was available late Friday at Netter to comment on the suit.
