Log onto uStream on Wednesday, August 27th at 9:30AM to watch and discuss a series of marathon comic inking with the creator of Fantasia Arks: The Phasmatis Crisis as he recreates the first two chapters of the story tirelessly!

To paraphrase Dave Reynolds, artist of ShadowGirls on the amount of work being done: "I do about 110 full color pages a year, but doing 200 black and white, graytoned in a matter of months...is just borderline "You've looked at Cthulhu."

Saturday, August 19, Fox Kids Network (Fox Kids) topped broadcast competition with Kids 6-11 (3.1 rating/15 share) and Kids 2-11 (2.8 rating/14 share). Fox Kids bested Kids WB by 55 percent with Kids 6-11 (3.1 vs. 2.0) and ABC by 41 percent (3.1 vs. 2.2). Fox Kids also topped Kids WB by 40 percent with Kids 2-11 (2.8 vs. 2.0) and ABC by 33 percent (2.8 vs. 2.1). Fox Kids posted ratings growth from the prior week with Kids 6-11 (35 percent) and Kids 2-11 (40 percent), while Kids WB decreased with Kids 6-11 (-33 percent) and Kids 2-11 (-20 percent). Nickelodeon and ABC also posted week-to-week decreases with Kids 2-11 (-11 percent and -15 percent respectively). Fox Kids posted double-digit growth in shares from the prior week.

"Digimon: Digital Monsters" (9:00 AM/ET) was the No. 1 series among broadcast competition for Saturday morning with Kids 6-11 posting a 4.8 rating/23 share and Kids 2-11 4.0 rating/19share. "Digimon: Digital Monsters" also ranked No. 1 among all time period competition besting Nickelodeon's "Rugrats" with Kids 6-11 (4.8 vs. 4.7) and Kids WB's "Pokemon" by 60 percent (4.8 vs. 3.0). "Digimon: Digital Monsters" also outdelivered Kids WB by 48 percent with Kids 2-11 (4.0 vs. 2.7).

"Digimon: Digital Monsters" (10:30 AM/ET) was the No. 1 series in its time period among broadcast competition with both Kids 6-11 (4.3 rating/17 share) and Kids 2-11 (3.9 rating/16 share), topping Kids WB's "Men In Black" 169 percent with Kids 6-11 (4.3 vs. 1.6) and 160 percent with Kids 2-11 (3.9 vs. 1.5).

The new female action hero, "CyberSix" (8:30 AM/ET) stomped on the competition, to rank No. 1 series in its time period among broadcast competition with Kids 6-11 (2.5 rating/15 share) and Kids 2-11 (2.3 rating/14 share). The series topped Kids WB's "Batman Beyond" 32 percent with Kids 6-11 (2.5 vs. 1.9) and 44 percent with Kids 2-11 (2.3 vs. 1.6). The series bested ABC's "One Saturday Morning" with Kids 6-11(2.5 vs. 2.4) and tied with Kids 2-11.

The new anime series, "Escaflowne" (11:00 AM/ET) also topped its time period broadcast competition with Kids 6-11 (2.4 rating/10 share) and Kids 2-11 (2.5 rating/ 12share), besting Kids WB's "Batman Beyond" by 71percent with Kids 6-11 (2.4 vs. 1.4) and 67 percent with Kids 2-11 (2.5 vs. 1.5). The series bested ABC's "Bugs Bunny/Tweety Show" by 118 percent with Kids 6-11 (2.4 vs. 1.1) and 127 percent with Kids 2-11 (2.5 vs. 1.1)."

"For the week of August 14, Fox Kids Network (Fox Kids) ranked No. 1 among broadcast competition with both Kids 2-11 (2.1/11) and Kids 6-11 (2.4/11), besting Kids WB by 50 percent with both Kids 2-11 (2.1 vs. 1.4) and Kids 6-11 (2.4 vs. 1.6), respectively.

Fox Kids new "Anime Invasion" block (Friday, 3-5PM/ET) continues to invade broadcast television, ranking No. 1 among all broadcast competition with Kids 2-11 (1.9/10), besting Kids WB.

Additional Fox Kids daytime program highlights for the week of August 14 include:

* "Digimon" (Friday) topped Kids WB's "Batman Beyond" by 73 percent in rating with Kids 2-11 (2.6 vs. 1.5) and 40 percent with Kids 6-11 (2.8 vs. 2.0).

* Ranked No. 1 in its time period among broadcast competition with Kids 2-11 (2.0/10) and Kids 6-11 (2.2/11), besting Kids WB's "Batman/Superman/Men In Black" by 100 percent with Kids 2-11 (2.0 vs. 1.0) and 83 percent with Kids 6-11 (2.2 vs. 1.2).

* "Dinozaurs" (Friday) topped Kids WB's "Men In Black" with key demos, Kids 2-11 (1.8 vs. 1.1) and Kids 6-11 (2.1 vs. 1.7).

"Scholastic's Magic School Bus" (Mon-Thurs.) / "Flint The Time Detective"

* Ranked No. 1 in its time period among broadcast competition with Kids 2-11 and Kids 6-11 (1.8/10) topping Kids WB's "Toons/Detention" by 125 percent with Kids 2-11 (1.8 vs. 0.8) and 80 percent with Kids 6-11 (1.8 vs. 1.0).
