Info on the Kids' WB! Fall Lineup,
from an Unlikely Source...
Rembrandt
Friday, August 18, 2000, 10:48:45This September's issue of Disney
Adventures has a 4 page fold-out concerning Kids' WB!'s fall season. The ad started with
"This fall, Saturday is so huge..." then folded open to reveal, "...it has
to start a day early! Introducing Fraturday [now your Saturday begins Friday!]" It
showed several pictures of the fall shows excluding The Zeta Project and X-Men:
Evolution (which wasn't even mentioned in the ad at all). There were three pics from
both Generation 0! and Detention; two from both Cardcaptors and
Jackie Chan; one from Batman Beyond, Static Shock, and Men
In Black; and of course, five from Pokémon. Then they
listed schedules for Fraturday and Saturday.
SCHEDULE:
"Fraturday"
Pokemon - 7:00 a.m.
Histeria! - 7:30 a.m.
Detention - 3:00 p.m.
Cardcaptors - 3:30 p.m. (new episodes)
Pokemon - 4:00 p.m. (new episodes)
Generation O! - 4:30 p.m. (new series)
Saturday *
Men In Black - 8:00 a.m.
Pokemon - 8:30 a.m.
Jackie Chan - 9:00 a.m.
The Zeta Project - 9:30 a.m.
Pokemon - 10:00 a.m.
Static Shock! - 10:30 a.m.
Batman Beyond - 11:00 a.m.
Max Steel - 11:30 a.m.
* Please note that all the shows are new episodes
Miscellaneous notes on changes since the original announcement in April: Batman Beyond
and Men in Black have switched spots on Saturday; Max Steel will be
airing in the 11:30 spot (originally reserved for X-Men: Evolution, which won't
be ready until around November); Zeta has been moved from "Fraturdays"
to Saturday mornings at 9:30; Histeria! will be airing five days a week instead
of four in the 7:30 slot; Detention will be airing Friday afternoons, instead of
Friday mornings; and the whole Friday afternoon lineup has been switched around.
Stuff to mark on the calendar:
An all-new CardCaptors this weekend, as well as season openers for Batman
Beyond and Pokémon.
Series premiere of Generation O!, next weekend at 10:30 AM.
The new Kids' WB! daily lineup beginning September 4th, including
daily editions of The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries, Men in Black, Pokémon,
and Batman Beyond!
Another Pokémon marathon the weekend of September 8th and 9th.
And the series premiere of Jackie Chan Adventures September 9th!
